Sowing from the end of march to April in Hunan province (including southwest provinces in China).

The recommended density is 233-300 plants/ha; the recommended density is 366 plants/ha for spring sowing in northeast China; and the recommended density is 366-400 plants/ha for summer sowing in yellow and huaihai. The specific density is shown in the table below:
